The thumbdrive was invented in Singapore???

Yes, you read the title right! I just found out today that the humble thumbdrive, which has become so commonplace, was actually invented by a Singaporean company, and the patent is also owned by the Singapore company.

That company is called Trek, and it is helmed by a man called Henn Tan.

I like his style. To some extent, heĀ mirrors my thoughts on business, and I can sense his absoloute determination to get ahead, and to be no 1. I can also sense his pride at being Singaporean, and having contributed.

Hopefully one day, I’ll be able to say that I’ve pioneered something that has influenced the lives of so many people around the world. Check it out. Skip to about the middle part if you can to catch his interview.

Catch it here (since the embed code is not working). Bummer razor tv dudes!

On a separate note, I think razor tv is great. And not just because they interviewed me previously. :-p
