Gone too soon- Michael Jackson

Honestly 2 days in, and I’m still pretty sad that Michael Jackson has passed on.

As a kid, I was always influenced by the brilliance of his music and his moves. He is the undeniable king of pop.

Its not like I’m heartbroken or anything like that, it’s just this feeling somewhere deep inside, that the world has just lost a little something. Somebody who made an impact on millions of peoples of lives, but more importantly on my own.

His songs, were always ahead of the times, and reached out to our humanity, and the very reasons for which we live. From “Black or White”, to “Heal the world”, to “Earth Song”, they meant something.

I believe MJ has gone on to a better place, but that will not make us miss him less. I hope one day, in whatever capacity possible, I would have touched as many lives as I possibly can, as he did, in such a big big way.

This song sums it all up. He sang it for a young victim of Aids, he brefriended. A measure of the man. Back at you MJ, back at you.
